I want to share this excellent ALS Ice Bucket Challenge YouTube Video made by Town and Country Ford in Bessemer, AL. My son-in-law Kyle Sain did all the talking in the video, hence my prejudice in calling this the BEST Ice Bucket Challenge! So proud of the team's creativity in the way they accomplished their EPIC challenge.
The Town and Country Ford Team then went on to throw down the gauntlet for TWO impressive people. One is the current President and CEO of The Ford Motor Company, Mark Fields and Retired President and former CEO of The Ford Motor Company, Alan Mulally.
Remember to make a donation to ALS!

What a really cool video! It made me quite cold just watching them. This is such a wonderful campaign and challenge. Kudos to your son in law and all of the staff who participated in the Ice Bucket challenge for the benefit of the ALS Association. This is truly a very worthy cause. I understand the ice bucket challenges have raised millions of dollars for ALS. Totally awesome!!! What a great campaign to join and continue by challenging others. I am thrilled that Review This can have a small part in promoting the Ice Bucket challenges.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Mark Fields & Alan Mulally's responses too! #IceBucketChallenge
DeleteHow fun....this is truly a great challenge for a very important cause. I have so enjoyed watching all the the ice bucket challenges from family and friends around the world. thanks Mickie for bringing us this one!
ReplyDeleteOh, Mickie, this is such an awesome response to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge--the BEST! And not a drop of water was wasted with it being recycled right back into the water park, hooray!
ReplyDeleteShivers! hahaha, love this. Now that's doing the challenge in a big way! It's incredible how this has circled the globe! Great that your son-in-law is featured here too!
ReplyDeleteFood prices are going up nationwide because of drought, People in west Africa are begging for clean drinking water. And Americans are proud of wasting 1,200 gallons of water in a STUPID stunt like this. I'm not saying don't support ALS research, even if 73% of the money this is raising goes to cover overhead costs and only 27% of it actually makes it to research, SEND THEM THE MONEY AND STOP WASTING WATER! aSend the water where it's needed. Oh, and here's your signs.
ReplyDeleteWe appreciate your opinion. Everyone in this group of writers is concerned for the welfare of the world, conservation, and living responsibly. In the case of the Ice Bucket Challenge featured above, the participates were in a water park. All of the water remained safe, unharmed and reusable. There was no waste and there is no apology for promoting and donating to a worthy cause.
DeleteAs Cynthia indicated, it's a water park where the water is re-used; smart of them to think of that as well.
DeleteWe each interpret the "signs" in our own way and we each do that which we believe to be the right thing. In this specific case, I do believe the participants showed their enthusiasm for a good cause and by recycling the water for the water park ... That's a good sign of concern for the planet!
DeleteThis is a great thing your son has done, and having a friend who lost her life to ALS, I do know how important this organization is. Other organizations should find fun and creative ways to bring in extra funds to support their causes and ministries.
ReplyDeleteoops I mean your son in law and the participants
DeleteOh my, this is taking the challenge to the next level for sure.......
