My Lego collection started by accident. I inherited my younger brother's Lego toys when he headed off to college. But that one accident opened up a whole world to me. Now, I'm always on the lookout for additions.
Lego Toy Planes
I couldn't resist adding a Lego toy plane to my wish list. The trick was trying to pick out which one. Lego offers us toy options from a Ninjago Storm Fighter plane to a passenger plane complete with airport terminal. In true Lego fashion, the planes are built from the a combination of bricks.
Lego Planes and Helicopters reviews not only my favorite toy planes but plenty more, including some fun helicoptor choices. Any collector of Lego toys will lots to add to his or her collection.
Lego Goes Game With Minecraft
My granddaughter introduced me to the world of Minecraft. I was hooked quickly into building villages, called biomes, and saving my communities for the zombies and bombs. Of course, I wanted my Lego toy collection to include my new-found game world.
Lego Minecraft Sets helped me out. The full collection of Lego Minecraft sets is reviewed, giving me the information I needed. Well, needed to know I wanted to add all the sets. Yes, my Lego toy collection is growing.
Collectible Lego Toys
Even if you aren't an avid toy collector, Lego is still a fun way to enjoy playtime. My Legos provide hours of great fun for me as I build each set, but they do more. Because they are toys, they are meant to be played with. That's great for my grandchildren as well as me. How many toy collections can boast that feature?

ReplyDeleteMy children had tons of Lego sets over the years and once they all grew up the Legos became part of my 'grandma box'. When the oldest two grandsons were small they played and played with my grandma Legos. Finally the third grandson got old enough to enjoy them and I ended up donating my whole large tub of Legos to him for his collection. He's now 12 and still collecting (and building) Lego sets, so he's become my 'go-to' Lego guy! Legos are one of the best toys ever invented, in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteLego toys and grandkids just go together. Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThis is definitely my son's area of expertise, but I have spent many, many wonderful days of the years helping him sort pieces and watching him build his Lego sets. He is a college graduate now and he still builds Lego sets. I always know we are in for a special day together when he grabs a Lego set and settles in at the dining room table. I still sort the like pieces for him and put them in baggies for organization, but I mostly serve as the onsite photographer. I gave him a small Halloween set for his last birthday and he had it together before I could get the cake cut! He has left it sitting on my mixer on the kitchen counter. Now, Dracula keeps me company while I cook. When I venture into his "domain", it is like visiting his childhood again. Years of his built Lego sets sit on every available surface. Every once in a while, I notice a dragon, a horse, or a bat has moved.
ReplyDeleteLegos really are the best toy ever! They allowed me to be part of my son's life and give us an excellent reason to just sit and talk together.
Oh, Dracula - now that's another one I have to add to my wishlist. So glad you have such great remembrances of those special times.
DeleteIt's been years since I've seen legos in this house! Strangely enough my boys were never really into them. It seems I don't have an Architect in the family :) I sure love them I can easily spend hours working on building something, especially that airplane lego featured above!
ReplyDeleteI love Legos. They are the best! I loved playing with my kids with them and now use them at work on a daily basis. Awesome toys.
