Dawn Thanks for another great article. I enjoyed visiting the lenses you recommend. Thanks for including mine. You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the country.
ReplyDeleteMary Beth, no thanks necessary. I'm so glad to have your beautiful lighthouses to read about!
DeleteWhat great selections you have featured here. What's not to love about wild horses, lighthouses, and the Appalachian Trail? Everything about your corner of the world is wondrous. I think I probably do look like a wild hermit hunkered down writing. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing place, for sure. I have stepped onto the AT in different areas but I'm so looking forward to a long day hike at some point.
DeleteBeing a recluse I can certainly identify with your hermit image of a writer! Fortunately, I am also a writer on Squidoo and so enjoy the community support and encouragement.
ReplyDeleteI have entered your book giveaway on your blog and hope to be writing a review of Misty of Chincoteague as soon as I win! How's that for a winning spirit!
I LOVE your winning spirit Ruthi!
DeleteI ascribe to the 'Speak it into Being' theory of life, most times!
DeleteDawn Rae - you have featured some wonderful lenses today -- I just finished reading that wonderful book review and personal story by Angelatvs about the wild ponies on Assateague Island. And I've long been a fan of the marvelous writings of Deb (Ramkitten) and Mary Beth (mbgphoto) and have read just about everything they're written on Squidoo, including these two articles you mention here.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elf. There are so many good lenses to choose from ...I just love Squidoo writers and their stories!
DeleteHaving a community of writers is such a blessing. Even clacking away in remote Idaho, I still feel connected. I also get to learn about the beauty and wonder in other regions such as yours! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteCharli, I'm so glad you clack away in Idaho. I love the stories you share with us. I look forward to each blog post you make!
DeleteGreat post, Dawn. Well written.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much melkav. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time you write a new article or lens, your descriptions of the Mid-Atlantic States always make me want to jump on a plane and visit. Even your pictures beckon me!
ReplyDeleteI am familiar with the works of the other writers as well and I have visited at least 2 of the articles featured before, but I will enjoy a return visit today. Thank you for featuring them!
