25 Little Surprises for Men: Gift Ideas that Effortlessly Slip into a Card

Gifts for a Man that Fit Inside of a Card

Sometimes large elaborate gifts are not an option.

When you're looking for a gift to fit inside a card, you're more than likely seeking a personal, unique, oddly helpful gift that can be mailed and, in some cases, is affordable.

To save you some mind work and extra thinking, I've compiled a list of ideas for the man in your life that you can consider mailing or handing him as a gift inside a card.

Take note that you may have to purchase slightly larger cards for a few of these suggestions.

25 Gift Items for a Man: Gifts that Can Fit Inside of a Card:

  1. A gift card to his favorite restaurant or store
  2. Handwritten letter expressing your love and appreciation
  3. Movie tickets for a special night out
  4. A small printed photo of a cherished memory
  5. Inspirational quote or affirmation card
  6. Custom-designed bookmark
  7. Lottery scratch-off tickets
  8. Guitar picks for the music enthusiast
  9. Write a few riddle brain teasers inside the card
  10. Personalized stickers or decals
  11. Thoughtful coupons for acts of service or quality time
  12. Magnetic bookmark with a funny or meaningful quote
  13. Assorted tea bags or single-serve coffee packets
  14. A handwritten recipe for his favorite dish
  15. A collectible trading card of his favorite sports team or player
  16. A necklace, cufflinks, or other jewelry
  17. A personalized keychain
  18. A personalized business card holder
  19. A small pack of Post-it notes with witty or loving messages
  20. Key locators, password savers
  21. A USB flash drive with important files or photos
  22. A personalized luggage tag for his next adventure
  23. When money is no object, tickets for a weekend trip together
  24. Tickets to his favorite type of music band, theatre, or concert
  25. Personalized return address labels or decorative stickers
Remember to account for the weight of the envelope if you plan to put the card in the mail; you'll want to ensure you have the correct amount of postage.

Don't send anything restricted or prohibited by mail, usually food products, medicines, etc.; check with your local mail service online or in person.

If you're more of a visual person, I've put together a list of gift ideas for a man that can fit inside a card or envelope. You'll notice that the gift ideas are from various stores.

  2. Custom Coupons have long been gifts our whole family has given to each other - kids included - over the years. A gift of your time is always appreciated. Your gift ideas are perfect for that special man in your life, Barbara, especially with Father's Day coming up.

  3. I love all of your suggestions, especially gift cards. I have started giving those a lot more often. I have a sister-in-law who never liked giving or receiving gift cards and she influenced me for several years. When I realized she was the exception and not the rule (that most people like getting gift cards) I started giving them more often. I also like getting them. It is really cool to be able to buy something you really want without having to spend your own money. The men in my life like outdoor gear and I never know what item they might need. Giving them a gift card to their favorite sporting goods store is something they really like. They are able to replenish supplies that I would have no way of knowing they need.
