Dust Brushes for Dusting Legos and Other Collectibles Reviewed

dusting collectibles
Dusting my son's Lego creations has presented quite a challenge for me for many years.  In the past, I've tried dusting them with the Swiffer dusters, feather dusters, and dusting gloves.  I've even tried blowing the dust off of them.  While all of these options have worked to some degree, none have fully removed the dust from all of the crevices of a completed Lego masterpiece.  Dusting between the Lego brick studs is nearly impossible once a set is complete.

We recently how to repair a wall after the plumbers had to cut out a section to get to a leaking pipe.  The drywall repair required sanding the wall.  Even though I had covered the Legos, fine dust still managed to get all over the Lego buildings, vehicles and figures. Desperation lead me to search for dusting brushes that would fit between the Lego studs.

Below are the brushes I selected and they are fabulous!  It took time to dust each Lego creation carefully, but the brushes did get all visible dust off of them.  Now, when I go to battle with the dust that has settled on my son's Lego models, I will be properly prepared to walk away the victor.

Set of 2 Lego Dusting Brushes

2 Pack Exquisite Dusting Brush Kit, Dust Brushes, Car Detailing Brush, Feather Duster Brush for Models, Craf, Collectibles,Computers, Digital Devices, Car Interior, Musical InstrumentsCheck PriceThere are two different styles of microfiber brushes in the set.  One is thin with stiffer bristles which is great for getting between the Lego brick studs.  The other brush is full and softer which for perfect for dusting the flat pieces, the fabric parts, and the sails on the ships.

These dusting brushes could be used on other collectibles as well.  The soft brush is soft enough to use on doll faces or to carefully swipe down the doll's hair without pulling it loose.

They would also be great for dusting a variety of finished crafts like a Sailor's Valentine, a mosaic picture, or a beaded cross stitch project.  As a matter of fact, they did such a good job on the Legos, I purchased a second set for my other collectibles and intricate decor.  Of course, I could use the same brushes for everything, but I want to leave the first set with my son just for his Legos.

To clean the brushes, simply take them outside and blow them off or brush them against a cloth to remove the dust.
