Baseball Books for the 2025 Season:
*Baseball Seasonal Highlights review written by Wednesday Elf
What fun! I bet the players are really looking forward to going to Japan and I am sure the Japanese baseball teams are looking forward to playing against the Dodgers and the Cubs. I also wonder how they will prepare the field at the Speedway. Interesting year with some special events for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat was my first thought when I saw the event scheduled for the Bristol Speedway, Mouse. The Field of Dreams was a regular baseball field, as was Rickwood Field in Birmingham - which is the oldest existing professional baseball park in the United States. But a speedway is different. I guess they will do something in the middle of the racetrack. It will be interesting to see.
DeleteYou know we are big baseball fans at our house. We are already enjoying spring training and anxious for the season to start. Thanks for this review with the highlights all listed.

ReplyDeleteI certainly will, Barbara, as much as I will enjoy the trip my son has given me to NYC and a Yankees game in June. :)
DeleteNow that I finally understand the game, I am looking forward to opening day. Go Blue Jays! It's time for another championship! Thanks Pat for giving me all those dates!
ReplyDeleteI love baseball. It was a game that the kids in the neighborhood could play together, before a factory was built on the field. Anyway, I enjoy watching local games, and enjoyed reading the extra info in your article. Thank you.
