Carter's Just One Year Plush Rabbit

Carter's Just One Year Plush Bunny Rabbit

HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY FOR A PLUSH RABBIT?

Does your child have a prized plush animal? What would you do if he lost his coveted stuffed animal? And finally, what lengths would you go to replace it?

Many young children love the incredibly soft plush rabbits by Carter called 'Just One Year.' This rabbit has been produced in many styles and colors and replacements for a specific lost rabbit are somewhat hard to find. If you are one of those parents trying to replace a specific Carter's plush toy or just someone who wants to replace the one they owned when they were young, don't despair.

You may be able to find your rabbit on eBay. The one you are looking for may not be available today and you may have to create a saved search on eBay to eventually find the one you are looking for.  If you don't know how to do that, please visit this page and look for the instructions on how to create a saved search on eBay. The page is actually about replacing a favorite mug (which I had to do) but the technique used on eBay is the same.

JUST ONE YEAR PLUSH BUNNIES ON EBAY

The most valuable Carter's Just One Year plush bunny that I have seen is this one with allover white fur and dark chocolate brown on the inside of his feet and his ears. It sold more than ten years ago in 2011 for $164.50, most likely to a desperate parent. I am sure that he fetched more than others because of the fact that he was a retired toy that was still new. However, many Carter's rabbits are available for much less than that. I see them new, used and vintage ranging from around $10 to $130 plus shipping. Click here to see which of these rabbits are available on eBay right now.

A Carter's bunny rabbit would make an excellent, high quality Easter Bunny!

Is there a Carter's bunny rabbit in your home or maybe another treasured plush toy? How much would you pay to replace a lost and treasured plush animal?

See you
on eBay!

  1. eBay is such a good source for vintage, retro, and retired items, so I'm not a bit surprised that you suggest it for Carter's Just One Year plush rabbit. Good job, Brenda.

  2. eBay really is a great source for hard-to-find vintage and retired items, Brenda. When eBay first launched (many years ago) and I predicted it would become wildly popular, my dad responded, “Who would want to go online for a yard sale?” It still makes me chuckle.

  3. Ebay is a fabulous place to find rare or "hard to find" items! That bunny is adorable and would definitely make a great Easter bunny gift. By the way, I have at least 8 different saved searches for items that I hope to find. One of my saved searches is for serving pieces to my china pattern that was long ago retired. I was beyond elated when a platter was listed. Mine had gotten broken and I really wanted it replace.

  4. Next to Teddy bears, bunnies are my next favorite stuffy! I think kids just like the look and feel of these incredible little "friends". My granddaughter (17) just brought her teddy on holidays down south with her. He had been to so many places in the world and she still travels with him. Now I'm sure if she had a Bunny, he would be coming along also! What fun!

  5. Retro toys can be such an excellent collectible as well - eBay is a great place to search to find these toys, totally agree - I don't remember this plush rabbit when the kids were young, but honestly we might have had one and not realized it - we had so many stuffed toys, bags and bags we ended donating.
