As we kick off the new year, I have been thinking a lot about ways to get better organized. I love having organization, but I'm not good at maintaining it. One of the few things I have been able to keep fairly well organized is my purse, and it's thanks to the Baggallini Modern Everywhere Hobo Bag. The Problem: Too Much to Carry
Like many women, I like to be prepared when I'm out and about. As a result, I carry a lot in my purse or handbag: Wallet, keys, sunglasses, phone, brush, tissues, cough drops, lip balm, hand cream, sunscreen, lipstick, a face mask, UPF 50 gloves to protect my hands against UV rays, a water bottle, and sometimes my Kindle.
I also have a bad back and leather purses tend to be too heavy for me, especially when they're filled with all of the above! In addition, I have sloping shoulders and a regular shoulder bag slides off. DeleteI have noticed the crossbody bags have become a lot more popular and I certainly understand why since they free up your hands. I have considered changing out my backpack for one. I really like all of the pockets for organization. Of course, I would have to remember what pocket I stuck things in :)
ReplyDeleteI grew up in New York City and learned to use crossbody bags for security as well as the convenience of having my hands free. I absolutely love this particular model. At first I had to remind myself where I put everything, but I quickly got accustomed to my organization scheme and now I know exactly where to find whatever I need in my bag. When I switch from one color of this bag to another with the change in seasons, everything goes in the same place. I think you might just love this bag SS an alternative to a backpack!

As I read the review, I realized how familiar everything looked, so I glanced up at my purse and there, right in front of me, was the name 'Baggallini'. I THOUGHT it looked familiar.
ReplyDeleteI only ever use a crossbody purse for the facts of security and hands-free. I looked for a long time to find just the right one that had a zipper pocket on the outside that my cell phone would fit it, plus another small zipper pocket for my car/house keys. I needed those items readily available to me on the 'outside' of the purse. Plus, there are lots of extras inside, as you point out. This Baggallini bag is far and away the best handbag/crossbody purse I have ever had. And I actually didn't buy it for the name, but for the features all being exactly what I was looking for. Elf, I am tickled that you, too, own and love this terrific bag! It may not be the most beautiful purse, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Having “a place for everything, and everything in its place” (as my beloved grandmother used to say) is a joy. DeleteThis looks like a great purse. I love the different compartments and the included RFID blocking wristlet. I purchased a similar type at AAA; it was rated as Carry-On and has similar features. It's nice to know that there are more options when I consider a new one.
