We were on a road trip a couple of times and our tire pressure light came on indicating low tire pressure.
Both times we had to exit the highway to find a gas station with an air pump. Then, when you find one, you must pay for the air. It's not the cost it is just the total inconvenience of it all.

What an awesome gift this would be for any driver! Like you, we have had to locate gas stations when traveling. It certainly can be terribly inconvenient. Plus, with the change from hot weather to cold weather, this would be a very timely gadget to have available.

ReplyDeleteI see a tyre pressure inflator as an essential tool to carry in the car and I check our car tyres monthly with it. I do like the auto shut off feature and the LED light on the one you have reviewed. My Dad always advised I carry one as reassurance in the car in case of any tyre issues. ReplyDeleteI like that this can be used on both car tires and bicycle tires. However, I wonder what the option is to inflate bike tires if the car is not nearby to supply the power.
