Legacy On Ice Memorial Tribute

The Legacy On Ice Memorial Tribute will be televised on Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. on NBC. Members and generations of the ice skating community gathered to honor and remember the athletes, families, coaches and mentors of their community who perished on Flight 5342 on January 29, 2025.

Powerful, emotional, impactful viewing. As if the viewer has been invited into the close knit ice skating community to honor those lost and help support the community.

The tribute was originally televised live and streamed on March 5th on Peacock. A Youtube tribute along with information for the family support fund is included below.

  1. What a wonderful way to honor the skaters who died on Flight 5342 and their families. Certainly a tragedy and loss for the world. I will be sure to seek it out and watch the tribute. Skating is the one sport I really enjoy watching.

  5. Oh that is a great way to remember those who were lost in a tragic accident. I'm sure that many are still reeling from this and it will be wonderful to see an event to honor those who were so tragically lost.

  6. Thanks for the headsup on this, I had no idea it was being done. Competitive Figure skating was my sport as young girl, for all of my youth, til I was 20 years old. I lived on the ice, and truly know how this loss would be so hard to handle. It really is a very very tight community and the loss of these young future stars and others on that flight is gut wrenching.
