It may come as a surprise to you, but air movement in the home can make the surroundings so much more comfortable whether it's summer or winter.
We have had ceiling fans in our home for years and are always amazed at how much they help keeping the cool air moving around in the summer time and the warm air moving in the winter.

This is awesome! We have ceiling fans with light fixtures in several rooms. They were all installed by an electrician when the house was originally built. It would be very nice to be able to add a fan & light without having to schedule an electrician to install it. Looks like something even I could do if I can get high enough up on the ladder.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent choice for an apartment dweller such as myself. I remember having won a deluxe celing fan once long ago and wanting it in our bedroom. We had a friend who was a handy(wo)man who installed it for us and then took it down several years later when we moved out of that rented house. To be able to do it easily yourself would be great. ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have recently been looking at ceiling fans, and saw a portable one available, where all you have to do is plug it in. We did opt for the installed kind as we needed one that would also handle damp conditions. They do make ceiling fans that are rated for indoor/outdoor use too. This looks like a great option for indoor use.
