I really like the looks of the book slings. Especially for a child's room so they can see their favorite books at a glance.
ReplyDeleteI have so many books, that I've had to get creative myself to store and display them all. I have traditional bookcases, then small shelf units in a couple places holding favorite books. Enjoyed your review, Barbara.
Thanks Pat, book slings make a lovely furniture addition to a kid's room, have to agree
DeleteInteresting choices for storing books. I too like the book slings for children. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteMary Beth, they seem to be popular :)
DeleteExcellent ideas for storing books in unique, decorative ways! There are books all over our home and definitely not sufficient wall space for bookshelves. I was just thinking yesterday how we need a book shelf that would open to a second set of shelves:) In other words, I need twice the shelf space. An attractive trunk might be just what we need.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree with you on the trucks, I have the same problem, books everywhere - We've given so many of the kids books away to schools but still have a ton kicking around in different spots. I would solve the problem with decorative trunks for sure in our home - maybe when we do that long anticipated home reno!
DeleteWow there are so many choices when it comes to displaying books. Our home is a small library all on its own. Shelves are still the most workable for us, but I do like the alternatives for children's rooms . Thanks for making all these choices easy to look through.
