What clever ideas for flower planters, Barbara. Love them all. I doubt I'd park an old automobile in my yard for a flower planter, but I can easily picture many of your other ideas and see flowers flowing out of coffee cups and such ~ perfect for herb gardening too.
ReplyDeleteLol, the old car in the yard thing is certainly a stretch. I do like the coffee cup flower planter too.
DeleteI've seen an old toilet used as a planter, that was a real talking point ... my husband told me not to get any ideas lol! A friend of mine kept her bath when she was renovating her bathroom and turned it into her veggie garden many years ago.
ReplyDeleteomg at the toilet planter! lmao, that's hilarious. Very creative to use a tub, whimsical :)
DeleteI love creative flower containers. When I was in Alaska, I came upon a clever use of an antique ski boot as a planter. I also love the vintage bed springs that are used as planters. Great ideas here. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAntique ski boot lol, that had to look pretty cool
DeleteLove the car! I actually did make a planter out of old rain boots :)
ReplyDeletelol, I'll bet they were a great conversation piece
DeleteI really love these suggestions and thinking outside the traditional box for flower planters. I wish I had thought to use the drawers from an old dresser. I had the perfect one that we set on the curb last spring. It never even occurred to me to re-purpose it. I will certainly have to remember your bright ideas.
ReplyDeleteI like the dresser idea as well; there's so much you can do with them to decorate them
DeleteBarbara what fun ideas for a garden with a little flare added to it...Thinking outside of the box will often have some interesting results. Love all of your suggestions.
