Flowers are everywhere and I have seen many pages online where people include photos of flowers. It may be a page about gardening, a product for flowers, or perhaps a vacation where you enjoyed beautiful flowers. Whatever the occasion you will want to make sure you have some great photos of flowers to include on your page.
Taking photos of flowers is easy and with a bit of creativity you can capture some great images.
This week as I was browsing through some of my own flower images I wrote this page on photographing flowers.
Here are some pages where writers online use flower photos
- On this page Sylvestermouse shows us the beauty of her own garden Gardens and Trees
- Dawn Rae writes about travel in the mid atlantic states. On this page she shares her flower photos on a trip to Longwood Gardens
I am looking forward to seeing even more great flower photos online. Happy Shooting !

The images you share here are absolutely lovely. I remember a few of these lenses. Others are new to me. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteAs a frequent iPhone flower snapper, (I brake for flowers), I am eager to read your tips.
Thank you, Mary Beth, for the great tutorial and for featuring my dried flowers. Those flowers are very special.
ReplyDeleteMary Beth, I truly appreciate the feature. My flowers and trees are a huge part of my life. I find peace among them and I assure you, my photography does not do them justice. I have previously had the pleasure of visiting Dawn Rae's Longwood Gardens article, seeing Ruth's Butterfly chase and loving Coletta's Recycle Memories of Love and Flowers article. They stand out in my mind as a few of my personal favorites. I love Coletta's idea of pressing our gifts into treasured mementos and I could easily imagine Ruth running around her yard stalking butterflies (lovely photos indeed). Dawn Rae shared a photo in her article that has haunted me since the first time I saw it. It struck me as a magical moment that photographers dream about and frankly often envy the opportunity to capture such a precious shot. I expect you will know it when you see it, but follow the bird and seek the face. It is truly precious!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to have the pleasure of visiting the remaining featured articles, but I am on my way now and I am certain I will enjoy my visits. I am always captivated by your photos. You will most likely remember that it is one of your flowers that grace my desk most often with my morning coffee :)
That opening flower photo is stunning. I very much appreciate the individuals and lenses you have featured here.
ReplyDeleteThanks ever so much, Mary Beth, for sharing my beautiful butterflies! You've quite an array of article for me to visit, though I did take a peek at your floral photos before commenting...smiles.
ReplyDeleteBeauty held in time freeze! Love it!
