Karen Whalen sounds like a delightful author. I look forward especially to reading her Sea Oaks series, especially after the years I lived on the Georgia and Florida coasts. It always seems really fun when the story settings are in places I can relate to. Thanks for recommending this author and her series, Mary Beth. On to my reading list they go.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful book, Mary Beth! I love the image you used in the introduction. Made me want to read the book immediately. A surfboard riding doggie would be a fun character for the plot, for sure. Yes, I do realize it is a murder mystery, but I was immediately struck by the unusual character and I am sure he will help with clues.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading Everything Bundt the Truth, and the Sea Oaks series sounds fun. I love the idea of the surfing Chocolate Lab who is fostered by the heroine.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book to choose to curl up with and relax for the day. I love idea of a beach setting right now for a story.
ReplyDeleteThis book would fit right into my way of life right now. With a little warmer weather, I can see myself curled up and enjoying a good afternoon of turning pages! Thanks Mary Beth!
ReplyDeleteThe Labrador on the surfboard caught my attention immediately! This sounds like a great storyline and a good murder mystery with engaging characters.
ReplyDeleteThis review convinced me to download both of the books in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed reading them - thank you Mary Beth!
