It's such a great place to get a heads-up on a book. For me it's so helpful in deciding whether a book is good for my mom. She's an avid reader, and thank goodness for that because that's how she's coping with the isolation of quarantine right now. This book would absolutely be a book mom would love.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11149500665711112840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-27277892879592782422021-01-24T05:26:52.042-06:002021-01-24T05:26:52.042-06:00It is good to know that you can start with any of ...It is good to know that you can start with any of these books and still appreciate it in its own right as well as enjoying the series. I guess it's a good thing I have nowhere to go. Thanks for adding to my must read list of books. I love mysteries with a good plot line. Robb series of books. I am a HUGE mystery/suspense/thriller genre reader - almost all the books I read are in that category - yet for some reason I do not like J.D. Robb. I've read a few, but prefer other authors. Each to his/her own, I say. In other words, you can start with the last book and still know what is going on. Then later read the earlier books. :) Thanks for your visit to my book review, Mouse.Wednesday Elfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11125647693828663780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-44062709674022629522021-01-23T11:36:28.443-06:002021-01-23T11:36:28.443-06:00I tend to avoid the thriller genre, although I do ...I tend to avoid the thriller genre, although I do love the J.D. Robb “In Death” series. Despite my personal aversion to violent-themed books (or movies), which I find very stressful to read/watch, this story does sound quite compelling! I’ll share your review with my husband, who enjoys a good thriller.<br />Margaret Schindelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18159345369223670796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-84777206462431148762021-01-23T10:26:39.577-06:002021-01-23T10:26:39.577-06:00I must say, the title alone gives me chills! I have no sympathy for abusive parents, but I definitely care about the children. I think I would need to go back to the beginning of the series to appreciate and "know" the main characters fully, but it is quite the Sylvestermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13690700963857028874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-7197656086487786052021-01-23T08:10:42.140-06:002021-01-23T08:10:42.140-06:00You are welcome, Sam.
