The first time I ev...Ah, very handy devices indeed. The first time I ever saw a reacher/grabber was living in Georgia with six pine trees in the yard where the pine cones became such a nuisance. They needed to be picked up before mowing and bending over for each one was time consuming and back-breaking! A neighbor said 'here, this will help' and lent us his grabber. What a difference! I am barely over 5 feet tall and I have spent my life climbing on chairs, counter tops, step ladders, or whatever will give me a little extra height to reach things. My two biggest complaints, items that fall behind the washing machine and have to be fished out and trying to get Advil from the cabinet.
