It is probably more important to keep the inside of the denture clean as it is the outside. People see the outside so you want that looking nice and clean but the odor causing bacteria will most likely start to grow in the inside area that sits next to the gums and palette of your mouth. The routine you have described is really no different than the brushing routine recommended for natural teeth. Wonderful to know there is actually a toothpaste that is safe for dentures.
