This teapot sounds ideal. The timer is essential for sure, otherwise, yes, I'd be burning a tea kettle or two! Excellent review, thanks for the heads up on this one.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12436522337338948135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-11462673238333770562018-07-04T20:39:29.385-05:002018-07-04T20:39:29.385-05:00Hey Barbara, I think I need one of these. I think a good loud whistle would help me remember that I put water up on the stove. I don't like to use more electricity than necessary either....So I think I just might have to get me one of these! <br />Olivia Morris https://www.blogger.com/profile/00711607646097689874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-52113915884244878462018-07-04T14:24:40.479-05:002018-07-04T14:24:40.479-05:00I'm not sure all tea kettles have a fill limit...I'm not sure all tea kettles have a fill limit. I confess I've never read the directions on any other one I've had. I think it's designed so you won't fill the pot too close to the level where the spout is. That prevents the water from boiling into the spout and possibly leaking onto the stove. I'm guessing that as more people started suing companies for every little thingBarbRadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15899642277679265680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-55909023425136988622018-07-04T14:18:31.389-05:002018-07-04T14:18:31.389-05:00I use that timer for much more than tea. I set it again to take my evening dose so that I don't get distracted on the computer. I use it if I want to work on the computer when I'm boiling eggs or have some other thing going on in the kitchen. I like that I can set it for up to twelve BarbRadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15899642277679265680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-9476856653340698872018-07-04T09:11:05.368-05:002018-07-04T09:11:05.368-05:00First, I wish to say, what a beautiful teapot! I can hear mine when it is boiling if I am listening for it, but it does whistle. I had no idea there was a fill limit on a teapot! When I am drinking tea, I doubt I have ever exceeded that recommended amount, but when I am melting ice on the Sylvestermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13690700963857028874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-15781008237369612862018-07-04T06:50:06.941-05:002018-07-04T06:50:06.941-05:00A timer is an absolute necessity for me, Barbara a...A timer is an absolute necessity for me, Barbara as otherwise my computer time would most likely lead to burned food in the kitchen and me being late to work. And a teapot with a whistle is very helpful. One can get distracted by the computer or even the TV without realizing how fast time goes by. Thanks for your helpful review.
