We have a cactus that our grandson planted when he was in grade school. It needs very little water and just keeps growing, we have repotted it into bigger pots 3 times now. I do admire them. That's amazing - not really - but to hear about a plant doing this is always interesting. What a terrific gift idea for the avid plant lover and gardener.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11149500665711112840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-12944027442291738212021-03-10T09:53:23.307-06:002021-03-10T09:53:23.307-06:00I think you would love them! So here I go looking for seeds. I love the little pots that you can plant these in. For years I have had a collection of tiny pots, but nothing to grow in them. I think you just may have put me on the right track. Again I thank you and I'll let you know how I fare with these little beauties.Olivia Morris https://www.blogger.com/profile/00711607646097689874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-34687106016142999992021-03-09T12:48:15.924-06:002021-03-09T12:48:15.924-06:00Thank you! I do not think a bathroom would be a good environment for living stones, it is likely to get too humid, too much moisture in the air which they will absorb and it will be too much water for them. Also I would say not suitable for most kitchens. They need such a little water and a Raintree Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14593360466180995688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-57064803848485470432021-03-09T12:37:34.710-06:002021-03-09T12:37:34.710-06:00Thank you so much! I appreciate that idea. I wonder how they would thrive in a bathroom. Do you think the daily shower steam would be too much for them? They really are unique and very cute in their own way.Sylvestermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13690700963857028874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-90291943291292078902021-03-09T11:07:41.377-06:002021-03-09T11:07:41.377-06:00Oh I love this review. I am sure with your lovely nature that you will be great at caring for houseplants. Once you have the site, soil and the watering right everything else tends to follow! I would perhaps suggest you try with a young plant first. Always happy to help if you are not sure of anything.
