I've found Mag Phos which is a cell salt to be a great way of getting enough magnesium to avoid night cramps in the past, but I haven't needed magnesium for a while. I do bath in it, but as you said, not enough to get a continued benefit. I also have the supplements but found your ratios here to be very helpful.
