I used to wish that I could get a chimp and teach sign language to it. I didn't figure that I could probably handle a gorilla but maybe a chimpanzee. Although, chimps can be pretty strong. There has been great success with teaching both Beverly Owenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00973536186598994141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1874262419752354657.post-18174229686706697402016-06-09T07:42:10.539-05:002016-06-09T07:42:10.539-05:00I think it's plausible. She would answer a few questions and then refuse to go on unless given a banana or whatever she wanted. Or just as she was giving good info she'd decide she was bored and change the subject. Especially if it was a crime the gorilla could relate to - like someone taking away a baby. The Only Witness sounds like a delightful book. I can imagine communicating with the only witness would be quite interesting. I would have no trouble whatsoever believing animals communicate with humans in whatever way they can. I wouldn't think that teaching a gorilla sign language would be an easy job, but it certainly would erase the Sylvestermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13690700963857028874noreply@blogger.com
